DEMOCRATS ! Yeah, you guys in the Congress.....
Open your eyes and look at politics beyond the November elections. I know that is difficult to do. But, do you honor the Constitution and laws of this country or do you disrespect it as much as this Mis-Administration? If you do respect the rule of law, then you must make your decisions with that in mind. And you must be ready to protect our Constitution and hold those responsible that would disrespect it as much as this White House has done.

Yes, the censure vote will not be supported by the Republicans, which means it will probably lose when voted upon. However, you may be the people in charge after November elections and you have a responsibility to answer to the American people and hold those responsible that have broken our laws. You may need to investigate before you censure but it is important that your position be known today - not in November. We need a majority of Democrats to vote with Senator Feingold's censure, even though it will most likely be soundly defeated. It is a vote for the future, not a vote for today.

1. What should their priority be?
I mean, if a senator basically believed he could either hold onto his seat or vote for the Censure, what should he do?

On the whole though I think it is better to support the censure now and get on the record like you say. Surely most senators won't be in the position I mentinoed above.

I also think that the politics of support or lack of support for Censure has at least as much to do with 2008 as it does for 2006.

2. If he thinks it's an either/or situation??
Perhaps he needs to be somewhere else?
