For THIS He Needs a New Backdrop? ---pix--->>>
Edited on Mon Mar-27-06 01:22 PM by Stephanie

Honestly, if I bought shoes as often as Pissypants buys backdrops I'd be broke in a week. How much is this costing us?

President Bush speaks to newly naturalized citizens at a naturalization ceremony at the Daughters of the American Revolution administration building in Washington Monday, March 27, 2006. President Bush said Monday that overhauling the nation's immigration laws 'is not going to be easy' and warned critics against stoking anti-immigrant feelings by calling them a threat to the nation's identity or a burden to the economy. 5. On fire or coming through with crappy reception.
My 25 year old TV used to have lines through everything like that.

2. Can't he just use the old ones?
I mean, it's not like he's saying anything different. One backdrop should last him for years.

6. Good call, LisaLynne!!!
Why don't they just drag out the old 'Mission Accomplished' banner every time he opens his mouth?

Americans LOVE irony!

7. Actually, the only backdrop he needs that describes his
whole legacy is a Republican elephant humping Uncle Sam.

3. That is a theme that invites blow-back
as in the American Dream is further away for many.... easy to "misread" as "Squandering the American Dream."

13. His physical expression is so extreme.
Whenever I see someone work so physically hard to say anything, I know they're pushing the delivery because the words have no substance.

When someone speaks the truth, the words carry the message themselves. No contortions necessary.

19. he literally doesn't understand the words he's saying
that's why he has to overact - he doesn't read through the speeches ahead of time - he is improvising - that's why he pushes so hard - by the time he has figured out what he just said he has to add some extra emPHASis physically to make it make sense

22. Pic # 3 probably was from a Right-Winger's personal collection
of "illegal immigrants" . . . check out the hand positioning of the guy in the backdrop.

The RWer probably donated the pic and then they had to airbrush the tequila bottle out of it.

Now, that's saying that the RightWinger probably took a picture of a Mexican with alcohol to prove his point that "Mexicans are drunk and lazy" . . .
