10. Thanks for remembering. My life was empty without CAPTIONS.

I was morose. Found myself stealing candy from kids, hub-caps from vintage cares, bars of soap from public restrooms. I wandered in the wilderness of contemporary culture, directionless, purposeless, in dread and gloom. But now I hear the CAPTION coming and my life as purpose and direction and limitless possibility once again. Oh, why did I stray? I feel like the prodigal CAPTIONer!!!

take back. Let's say I didn't go into Iraq. I coulda used all that money for something else like a legacy. Say, wouldn't legacy be a great name for a luxury car? I could chose a car, maybe, or someplace to drive. Choices . . . wow. Now that's something I know about. Or maybe I could have . . ."

to have. How 'bout all the brush cut at my ranch. That'd be great, but other people don't seem to care about it so much. Maybe I could build like a really big airport with a whole bunch of bars and strip clubs in it and name it after me. Wow, that would be great. Maybe I could make could take a bunch of soldiers up a hill in Cuba and attack the 'Spanish cur," and have pictures of me on my horse charging and stuff. . . Naw, somebody else did that. Gee, I'm tired thinking. Gues I'll just go back to running the nation."

You could win or you could lose. You could be America or you could be like the turd world, or whatever they call it. You could be smart and have lots of money or you could be dumb and play with your toes. You bet, if anybody asks me about choices, I got all the answers cause I studied on it all night. Plus I got a cheat sheet: win not lose, America not no desert in Africa where they can't even speak right, money and smart, not poor and dumb. They can make ME trip up, you bet."
