Who is going to buy what companies sell when all jobs are outsourced?
When all the jobs are gone and there is no more middle class making money, who is going to buy all the products that are made overseas?

These big fat slobs sitting behind the big mahogany desks haven't figured out yet that there will be no one left to buy their junk made in China and India when we are all sitting in the soup lines.
What is the motive? I simply do not see the motive behind the destruction of America these fat bastards are hell bent on.

1. I was in Texas over the weekend,
and on the way home, I couldn't help but notice every little town we went through had at least one thrift shop or "flea market". There was a billboard for the local food bank in one area, bragging about the tens of thousands of families they helped last year. Frankly, I can't figure out how people are buying the new junk now.

2. understand that "capitalism" and business is just
a method. they don't really care to sell anything if they can just take what they want by force.

3. I often wonder the same thing, libNproud.
What about there own grandkids. Do they truly believe that they will stay in their own little million dollar homes and we will all just grunt along?

12. Premise
Folks are somewhat mistaken here.

Yes, they don't care about when the jobs are gone.

By then, having collected 20 - 80 million per year salary, they can live in any country they wish and even bring grandchildren with them.

Isn't that what we call filthy, stinking rich?

The filthy, stinking rich DON'T WORK; they don't need to.

So, why would they 'need' anything in this country except the police or the military to prevent those who don't have anything from taking anything from those filthy, stinking rich.

Just check out how these folks live in Rio de Janiero (sp?), Brazil, and how many slums they have.

The rich helicopter with armed escorts from one place to another (and each is guarded by well-paid armed patrols) to avoid the traffic and the squalor (and the possibility of hold-up).

They don't call it the 'jet-set' crowd for no good reason.

5. People who work for the city, county, state and fed. and
suppliers to the city, county, state & fed - the new middle class. The underclass are those working in retail and fast foods, those people are consumers of the imported stuff too.

7. The wealthy
Production will be geared to cavier for the elite rather than fish sticks for the masses. It makes sense. The masses won't be able to afford fish sticks.

8. They'll have sucked up all the money by then
The rich people at the top won't care.

I've been laid off twice due to outsourcing. I don't know if I'll ever see what "job security" feels like.

9. Well,of course they'll sell to the Indians, Chinese, Rumanians and
whoever else gets wealthier by getting our jobs.

They don't care. THEY are global. It's a class thing, and we are at the bottom. We just haven't understood yet - after about 120 years - that our only chance is world wide solidarity. Instead we are letting ourselves be divided time and again.

13. Spiral to the Bottom
Everyone falling over themselves to be the 'lowest cost producer' of whatever widget or gadget and winding up PAYING (local tax-free economic zones or state tax abatements) for the honor of giving it away for less than nothing. Until it's cheaper to do it somewhere else and the whole tent folds up overnight and moves to another country. To start the same downward spiral there. Etc, etc.

Nuke the Earth and get it done with, already.

It used to be the current empire who met fate sooner or later. This time it seems it will be the whole world.

10. I live in a city of about 75,000 in Tx. We seem to have more
dollar stores and pawn shops than anywhere I've lived, whereas shops that cater to the middle class have all closed. Even the more expensive fashion boutiques have shut down. Every one wants to buy shit from WalMart for pennies and then gripe when it breaks.

I'm in retail business, and I'd like to open a shop for my wares and expand the product line, but I know I could never get enough of an increase to meet the rent. I'm alot better off running this from my home.
