Thousands have kids have walked out of school in California... there's a reports of Walk Outs in Dallas and Houston... and Ashy Larry reports 100 kids protesting in Northern Virgina.

When these fascists bastards criminalizes the migrant workers, the priests, the soup kitchen workers, and throws them in the detention centers that were manufactured and ordered by the DoD in preparation for mass sweeps - and when word gets out on that, we're going to see a General Strike.

after five long years of fascism, us white folks couldn't manage to organize this well looks like we have a lot to learn from our brothers and sisters of color when it comes to community and solidarity.

11. Speaking of detention centers...

During the Red Scare years (1947-1960 or so), the FBI had a file of people to round up in case of a "national emergency" for shipment to concentration camps. This list remained active for many years, until Congress ordered the files destroyed. According to a number of former FBI officials, that list was never destroyed, but rather was moved to a different file cabinet and is still active as far as updates of new people for the list, and deaths removed from the list. There are tens of thousands of Americans listed there, and you cannot see if you are on the list and you cannot ever be taken off of it.

4. Hundreds upon thousands massing in downtown Detroit...

shouting, "Yes We Can!"...just reported on CNN! Protesting Republican Bill HR4437 which criminalizes undocumented workers and anyone accused of aiding them! The commentator said that it looks like this isn't going to stop, as long as that Bill is being debated in Congress.

"It doesn't matter how many are out in the street. They're all illegal and can't vote so their protest is useless." Think it may have been Snesenbrenner. It was on Drudge (which seems to be all that is on on a Sunday night).

PHOENIX - Two hundred students walked out of their high school Monday and marched to the Arizona Capitol to voice their support for government policies that would welcome illegal immigrants and their families.

Students at the impromptu rally waved Mexican flags and chanted slogans in Spanish.

"Everybody wants to live here in the U.S.," said Ivan Bautista, a sophomore who walked out of Metro Tech High School. "They don't want to go back."

The rally came as thousands of students walked out of class in California and Texas and as a U.S. Senate committee considered proposed fixes to America's broken immigration policies.

16. Just drove by our local high school (Vista, CA) and

they were organizing to march. The young women were wearing Mexican flags and the young men were in white shirts and black pants. They had a pretty good crowd. Oh and the police were there too.

HOUSTON -- Hundreds of students from two Houston-area high schools walked out of class Monday to protest in the streets over efforts in Congress to crack down on illegal immigrants, KPRC Local 2 reported.

The House passed measures that would make being an undocumented immigrant a felony and erect a 700-mile fence along the 2,000-mile U.S.-Mexico border.

Up to 200 students at Eisenhower High School started their protest march at their school, located at 7922 Antoine. Some ended up outside a U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services office.

While the protest was peaceful, the students would face disciplinary action, said Ben Wilson, a spokesman for the Aldine Independent School District.

21. Driving in Culver City CA this afternoon ~ protesters ,hundreds

They were protesting directly behind the Police Department, waving flags but so far everything calm.

Police were blocking off streets and traffic was diverted.


The radio in Los Angeles was saying freeways were blocked, our beautiful Mayor spoke again today encouraging the students to go back to school.

I believe I just heard that all schools would be in "Lock Down" tomorrow, the District lost more than $200,000 today.

One Hispanic student that was interviewed said, " We want to do like the African American Students did, we want to stand up for our rights too."
