Don't forget - Michael Schaivo on Larry King tonight (9 PM ET)
I don't usually watch Larry's show, but I think we should support Michael Schaivo. He will be a big help in winning the elections in 06, and the Schaivo thing drives home as few can that the gov't is overstepping in such cases.

Georgia10's diary at DKos reminded me. Not only that remember how Bush rushed back to DC about TS and how it took him so long to end his vacation early after Katrina..

3. This story has not been overdone from Michael's side of things
I think the American people need to be reminded Tom DeLay and people of his ilk accused Michael of being a wife beater and worse. We heard from the wingnuts, and now a year later I am glad Michael is speaking out.

25. I saw the same show. Matt Lauer was such a sanctimonious prick
they way he talked to Michael. I could not believe he kept his cool.

6. "Must FLEE Teeeeeeeeee-Veeeeee" for SURE!
Maybe they could get Beth Holloway and Susan Levy on at the same time, too, and make Nancy Grace's head explode.

9. No, people need to be reminded
what Tom DeLay did and Bill Frist diagnosing Terry from the floor of the Senate, and such things.
These people lied about Michael Schaivo. I have had enough lies from the Religious Right and the GOP Congress people who fall all over themselves dancing to the tune of these rabid, hypocritical
rapturites!

10. Are you going to buy his book?
Make sure that you pay full retail. Because no one else gives a shit now.
He's not going to make any money off of me and a lot of other people.
Because in the end, it was all about the money.
Parents are also bringing out a book tomorrow.
Publisher of his book changed the schedule so that his book would be in the stores first.

12. If you know the facts of the case, you know it wasn't about money
For him... for her Mom? Maybe. Her Dad and siblings? Definitely.

He's been testing the current model for 10 years. She was on Dateline hyping the story yesterday along with him.

Look, I don't really know what is in his heart of hearts.
But it seems that he is trying to cash in on yesterday's news. There is tragedy all around. Why he has singled himself out to make a shitload of money off the deal is beyond me. He wanted everyone to respect his privacy, and yet here he is for another go-round.

15. Seriously -- whatever
If you know the facts of the case, then you know what was in his heart of hearts. The man was a rock, the man lived his love. The Micah el Schiavo smear machine continues... with you helping to throw mud.

I'm done with you. I don't listen to RW memes on DU, no matter the intent behind them. You're as transparent as glass.

You just have to defile her memory a year out, don't you? Feel good about that? Shame. For SHAME.

On Ignore. Have fun. You and lizzy can get together and trash Michael.

22. Well, I certainly got her goat.
Funny how you can judge a person (me), using 2 or 3 sentences that he posts to an anonymous forum.

20. You sound very mixed up to me.
He wanted his RIGHT to make private decisions respected. So would anyone else.

What happened to his family has made him an advocate to keep government out of personal matters.

I don't know why you wouldn't think well of that.

11. You are right --- the interference of the Government
in this case totally screws the first and fourth amendment and should of never been allowed ever!!!!... His new wife said they are getting like death threat letters saying that children disappear all the time in this country and then they would quote scripture... What a bunch of nuts!@!!!!

13. You're right,
and it also wouldn't hurt to remind everyone that Bush interrupted his vacation to fly back to Washington to grandstand and sign the unconstitutional legislation in the Terri Schiavo case, in contrast to his utter indifference the first several days after the Hurricane Katrina catastrophe. I saw Matt Lauer's smarmy excuse for an interview with Michael Schiavo, and I hope that Larry King does a more creditable job.

Michael said her family used to taunt her about her weight.

The poor woman.

And now they have the nerve to play the "aggrieved family".

Bastards.
