It's in the comedy section of Blockbuster's and there are some humerous moments in the film, but there's also some very serious and thought-provoking material and information in it.

Meanwhile, the protests against HB 4437 (?) reached our local high schools here in San Diego today - even Torrey Pines High School close to my house - where students were peacefully standing on the sidewalk in front of the school holding signs and waving at the motorists. I honked in approval and they all cheered.

Now if Francine Busby can just tap into the energy of these young people she'll be a shoo-in for "Duke" Cunningham's seat.

2. Excellent movie.
Thought provoking, funny at times, and a really good way to let people who would normally NEVER think about these issues have a "friendly" introduction that's not going to instantly trigger a preachy tone while delivering a very interesting and key message.

I have to say that I have been changed by that movie, and I'm so glad that I was able to pick up a copy at Blockbuster.

3. I saw it and it was very touching, but just keep in mind that it may
apply to California and midwestern states, but in Florida, it's a bit stereotyped. For example, landscaping companies are predominately run by whites and worked by whites in Central Florida. And illegal aliens as maids and nannies is predominately found in Miami, but not really done the further north you go. It's regional. I have Mexican-American roots, but I see the Trojan horse in open borders. If you do it for Mexicans, then why can't you do it for everybody else?

(By the way, my father, the real liberal in the family, believed in open borders.)
