I happened to catch Tucker Carlson promoting his TV show. Tucker, a sniveling little turd whose unending ass-kissing of the regime is what we have in lieu of journalism in these final days of Babylon was raving “In one of the most inspiring images to come out of the Iraq War, a Marine, injured by an IED, turns and gives the Insurgents the finger!”

You don’t say! There have been a lot of images out of this war, although maybe they’ve been a little short on inspiration. All those pictures of liberated Baghdad dissolving into an orgy of looting… nothing to write home about there. And Commander Codpiece strutting on the aircraft carrier, proclaiming Mission Accomplished… what was that, almost three years ago? Yeah, let’s forget that. The pictures from Abu Ghraib? Don’t even go there! Actually, I hate to disappoint Tucker Carlson and the rest of the war whores, but inspiring images from wars look something like this:
