So Bush and Blair had decided on war before sending Powell to UN ?
According to the report on Keith Olberman tonight, they had set the date of March 10th to invade, 5 days before Powell went with his ridiculous charade before the United Nations. What does it mean?

First of all, they used the United Nations as a front to legitimizing their conspriacy for war that had already been decided. They were going to war no matter what happened or what Saddam did. They were obsessed with war. Both of them lied to the world to begin the war in Iraq. How serious is that?

1. That same report was on several other shows tonight on CNN.
I know the Situation Room covered it, and so did Tweety on MSNBC. The general consensus seems to be that THIS report doesn't add much, except to confirm the Dowing St. memo, and statements from many others.

3. But it's the confirmation that is important...
It is no longer just a left-wing rumor. It is being confirmed.

5. I don't agree-I did hear Andrea Mitchell attempt to downplay it
by saying that Bush had telegraphed anyway what he planned to do. And I tend to agree with that- I clipped part of the Jan 31 press conference where he flat out said that, regardless of what the UN did about the 2nd resolution, he believed that 1441 gave him the authority to go attack Saddam. And that's what he did. So the press ought to have been HAMMERING on that point, which is, why was Bush bothering to go through some kind of PR motions when he didn't give a feck whether it worked or not?

And it's even MORE important now, because it wasn't just that one time that Bush decided to do whatever he wanted, without regard to law. It's a pattern with him. So, yes, it confirms the memos and adds additional info and is CRITICALLY important info.

2. I thought about the same thing when I saw it just now
They knew that what Powell had planned to say and they knew it was bogus. They knew he would not really convince anyone and therefore would not get a new resolution. Ever hear that old saying "Failing to plan is planning to fail"? They "planned to fail".

They 'penciled in' the start date so that they could begin to move and maneuver things to the areas where they would launch this mess from. The Powell visit to the UN was a smoke screen. Wonder how he feels about it now?

4. No intention to rain on a parade, but
is this supposed to be news?

I mean, this has been talked about literally for years.

7. Well, it probably is news to the koolaid crowd at
freak-pubic. The faux startled reaction of warm stream meddlers(WSM,) now that boosh is playing poll anchor, probably adds some zing.

My point is, although this is stale and its outrage value long exhausted, to many of the wide eyed grazers, this is brand new!
To those who are waking up to the lies and incompetence of their godlings, the BFEE, this has to hit hard, plus it is not coming from us-they are tone deaf to the truth from the wrong quarter.

10. It certainly wasn't talked about
that Bush despicably actually suggested disguising an American fighter plane to look like it was a United Nations plane hoping it would be fired on. That is hands down the lowest act of any American president in history.

Imagine this scenario...the plane would be prepared with the markings of the U.N. They would fly it slowly over a known artillery position. They would prepare to document through another pilot that it was engaged, or possibly even allow the plane to be hit. They could not allow it to be downed because that would expose the plot when it was discovered that it was an American aircraft.

But they would have been all prepared to immediately broadcast to the news media that a U.N. plane was innocently monitoring the skies and drew fire. That despicable act would then have to have been followed by intentional lies beyond anything comprehensible that the world could ever conceive would be deliberately orchestrated by an American president.

I myself even thought when it first surfaced that this is got to be loaded with tin foil. But now it's in the actual memo and mainstream news.

This has got to blow minds across the world. What tiny bit of respect we may have desperately been hanging has just been annihilated.

Bush is filth.
