I now get 180 spams a day. No point in sending them a "cancel me" message, it just sends them into a paroxysm of glee that they actually got someone's attention and they'll never turn you loose.
So far, my junk filters hold 'em, but, eventually, I'm going to have to go to a different email address--annoying,

The best spam policy that could be enacted would be that e-mail recipients would get 4 cents per message to drop 'em in your inbox, with real teeth (read BIG fines) in the opt in/out policy.

The way that big advertising twisted congress around, last year, was shameful. Absolutely zero consideration for the poor schmuck who has to wade through their crap and total kiss up to the bribes from business interests. Urrrg.
