Houston High Schools: Students Walk Out, are Marching toward CIty Hall --

Breaking now on live local news: At least 6 heavily Hispanic-populated HS's have had walkouts today--all heading for City Hall to see the Mayor & discuss immigration.

Why do they hate freedom? lol

It is a story about 4 high schoolers from a dirt poor town in Arizona who BEAT MIT in a robot contest and none of them could get a scholarship to college because they were illegal.

They were illegal. That was the key point in not getting a US education, not their intelligence.

8. That's what I don't get,

How are they enrolled in H.S if they are illegal immigrants? I hear parents voicing total frustration about overcrowded classrooms and students not getting the attention they need in order to get passing grades and it's due to illegal students? I'd be frustrated too!.
Obviously something needs to be done if the parents came here illegally and have been here long enough to settle in and have a family. Concessions need to be made. These children have never known another country.
The bottom line is, nothing can be accomplished in sorting through the millions of illegal immigrants that are already here if we don't stem the flow now.
