6. I've ALWAYS said illegal aliens include ALL illegals NOT just.......

......limited to any one group or race. BOTH BORDERS need to be shut down tight and ALL ILLEGAL ALIENS and gangs need to be kept out.

We need to have a set of criteria that would govern what would constitute a potential legal resident.

We need to enforce our borders with extremely stiff fines, confiscation of property, and even jail time for those (corporations or mom-and-pop) hiring or housing illegals.

I'm a third generation white female American of Irish/German/English descent. I never knew my descendants who came here from those worlds, but I will tell you that NO ONE owns this country.

If you choose to buy into the hatred the Administration is igniting and further fuel it yourself, that is your choice. However, keep in mind, that is exactly what they want. You are doing their work and you're not even getting paid for it. Remember, those fences at the borders can be used to hold us IN this country, just as easily as they keep others out. Don't think that those within this Administration haven't thought this through.

Remember who your real enemy is. It isn't the people working hard to get ahead and take care of their families. Its those who have taken from everyone else, have amassed huge wealth off of the backs of other people, and those who want you and me and anyone to work for them permanently and at the least expense to them, so they can stay rich and everyone else stays otherwise.

Unless you are Native American, you are the children of immigrants. How dare you be prejudiced against those who want what you have! Your forebears, and mine, came here from somewhere else.

Closing off the borders would corrupt a large chunk of our history, making you and I less free to move as we wish. Never forget that walls and fences can be as effective at keeping people in as they are at keeping people out.

I take great pride in the fact that we have the longest unsecured border in the world (with Canada). you people want to change that, and in the process, change our nation. We should take a page from Canada's book. When Hong Kong was due to turn over to Chinese control Canada implemented a policy which allowed anyone who could manage to come up with 250,000 dollars to buy citizenship.

The terrified bleating about closing the borders just demonstrates to me that you have fallen for the fear mongering of the right wing media Juggernaut. You should welcome these people instead of trying to persecute them.

After all, most of them want only what your own ancestors wanted when they came here from wherever. Most work hard, harder than most legal citizens. Many endure long separations from friends and family.

It makes me wonder, do you have a problem with them because they are brown? Or is it because they are poor? Just what is it that makes you think you are in any way better than they are?
