51. I know what Dewine's TRAVESTy seeks to do which is to have
Congress do oversight of the program instead of sending it to a court... only if the INtel committee (and possibly others) decide to forward it IF they think someone has been spied upon wrongly, would it then go to a court. Specter is against this.

So it appears that, despite newspaper accounts, Congress has NOT agreed upon Dewine's bill.

58. I think cspan has a contractural obligation to cover the House &
Senate while they are in session, so 1 & 2 are committed. I suspect you might see this hearing reaired on one of them either tonight or later in the week. They do that a lot.
