Jesus H! The only thing worse than CNN is the goddam Big Brother PSA's they run all day. They were cute the first ten dozen times. Now, they're like an advertisement for the fact that CNN can't sell advertisements! At the very least, can't we change the rotation of the free PSA's?

Yes, I'm talking about the Public Service Announcements provided by the Ad Council, the free spots the broadcasters run when they don't have any paid advertising to fill the same slot. Currently, CNN is running these 1970's era PSA's in heavy rotation, making it glaringly obvious that even their local Cable outlets can't sell the space for them.

the same ads running over and over. All I admit is that hate radio and Cabal "News" are an addiction that should be dealt with either by giving in and enjoying, or turning off. Watching endlessly and complaining about it is maso.

If we all turn off CNN (and their ilk) aren't we just creating our own echo chamber? You know, that kind of echo chamber we rag on BushCo for? An echo chamber is an echo chamber, be it dem or 'pub.

I tune in CNN because it is the best available balance between reality and Bush-speak.

but I can't go over there....I think those folks are "brain impaired" and don't want to spend time washing the "ignorance off."

But...watching the Mainstream Media tunes us into what the "Average Joe and Jane" are seeing when they come home and turn the "Tube" on.

I wish I could turn it ALL OFF as many DU Purists have...but ..I think some of us need to watch. I designated MYSELF as one...even though I :puke: nightly over it. SAD TO SAY....:-(
