Okay, it hasn't begun yet but if the BA continues to drive this nation down I want reserve the right to leave. If Bushco etc were to implement a draft and my daughters were at risk, or crashed the economy so there was no other way to support ourselves, we'd go -- legally if possible, illegally if necessary. Never say never.

I think America , as a matter of official policy, should treat people with compassion, respect, and understanding.

i fear (in the true sense of the word) that we as u.s. citizens are setting ourselves up for the biggest come-uppance of all history. Our arrogance, conceit, and selfishness (yes, even many here who salve their conscience by calling themselves progressive) are about to come back to haunt us. I fear.
