Who is Howard Kaloogian (and how did he get so insane?)

This much I know: He's a wingnut from San Diego who is running to replace Duke Cunningham. He certainly has the politics and mental stability to take the Duke's place. See this thread for a dissection of his claim that a photo he says is calm, cool Baghdad is actually probably Istanbul.

What makes Kaloogian totally insane is that he claims he took the photo, and that it demonstrates that things are much better in Baghdad than the left-wing MSM claim--and he has the photo of Istanbul to prove it, damn it!

But what I want to know is, who the hell is this loser? Anyone from San Diego want to fill the rest of us in?

wouldn't you pick an Arabic city? Why pick Istanbul? Because you're stupid, careless or imcompetent? Or ignorant? Or just plain insane?

You've got to be a little insane to think you can get away with passing off one city for another. You've got to be a little insane to think you can get away with claiming you've been to a city you haven't been to. Especially if you're running for Congress! (Or am I insane to think Kaloogian is insane? :crazy: )
