Man sought for raping, impregnating daughter

Police are searching for a man accused of raping and impregnating his 16-year-old daughter.

Police also say Early Arnold Connelly, 55, sexually assaulted his 19-year-old mentally disabled stepdaughter.

Connelly has been charged with two counts of rape and two counts of incest. Police believe he is aware of the charges and is avoiding authorities.

The assaults happened over a period of years and ended in January when the mother and father separated, police said. Neither of the victims has Connelly's last name.

What is it with the mother's role in these type cases? Are they intimidated by the Bible Belt's insistence on men's domination of women.

It seems like S Dakota shares the same beliefs of the Bible Belt.
