And the Mexican flag is certainly no where near as frightening as the Confederate Stars-and-bars, that most hateful sign of our nation's worst time and the vermin who fly it.

in a discussion of domestic US policy. the use of the Mexican flag does not actually help the cause of those waving it, Americans want to think of immigrants as becoming American, not remaining of their prior nationality.

One is more modern is all.
The historical irony is: the original illegal immigrants, those who conquered the new world under the oppression of the cross and the sword, also built their empire on the slave trade.
I believe there is a reason the Catholic church is behind these protests
