Nay-sayers have doubted the now-famous photos of a happy and prosperous downtown Baghdad, some even going so far as to claim that they were taken not in Iraq but in Turkey.

To provide some much-needed corroboration, here are several photos proving that Baghdad is in better shape than ever. I defy you to refute these compelling images.

Peace and prosperity have returned to the area! Great job, Bush! Thank you for bringing democracy to Iraq! The proof is in the pictures - it says Baghdad 2006 right there on the pictures, so it must be so...
