Background: Bluffton Today is a free daily newspaper distributed in Bluffton, South Carolina, which is roughly in between Hilton Head and Savannah. It's almost a year old, and is an
experiment by Morris Communications, a privately held company that publishes about 2 dozen dailies, including the Amarillo (Texas) Globe-News, The Florida Times-Union in Jacksonville, the Juneau (Alaska) Empire and the Savannah (Georgia) Morning News.
Bluffton Today encourages reader participation on their computers. People can contribute to stories, comment on them, and even maintain personalized blogs, with photos, that anyone can see.
More here on the paper's goals and business model.Full Discosure: I don't know anybody at Bluffton Today. I just think it's an interesting concept.
But I digress. Recently, it's readers had lots of fun mocking Fox News. The headline was written by one of the paper's bloggers, not me.
Enjoy.
Faux News Gone Wild

Picture this: a split screen with the terrible news about a serial killer of prostitutes in Daytona Beach on one side and, beside it, lovely young women, scantily clad, enjoying Spring Break. Hilarious!
See it on The Daily Show with appropriate commentary by Jon Stewart. The split screen is from, of course, Fox News. Fair and balanced.
