I used to be very mild mannered and gentle (pick yourself off the floor), however, I was driving yesterday and felt really bad that I didn't stop a little short to allow someone to cut out of a parking lot (I really thought there was room). No matter what I did, I couldn't maneuver so the lady could get through.
I felt horrible cause I know that it really sucks not to be able to get out of parking lots. Let me rephrase, I felt horrible until she pulled out and had a Bush sticker on her car. Then I was really happy I didn't let her out.

the radio; I mute the tv and give the same salute while trying to stifle the urge to :puke:. I've taught my kids to say "Bush**" if they want to utter anything that wouldn't be appropriate for someone their ages to say. I drink a beer or two or a glass of wine every night before I go to bed whereas I didn't drink much at all for a couple of decades!

During one of the SOTU addresses my kids and I were throwing petzels at the tv every time that he smirked, told a blatant lie, etc., and during the first 10 mins. we had to adjust our parameters because we had a large pile of pretzel pieces in the floor and were afraid it was going to get totally out of hand!

I too have a serious problem controlling my middle finger. It flips up on it's own whenever I see or hear the dimson - sometimes with both hands! Not only do I have involuntary cursing tics at the site of Bush, I have involuntary muscle spasms in which objects are hurled at the tv screen (forcing me to remove all hard objects from coffee and end tables and wear slippers only). I have hand and finger spasms (the good news is that I have learned insulting hand gestures in many cultures now). I too make up new 'colourful adjectives'. I can now curse in several languages because sometimes English just is not enough.

I have tried to be as positive about this disease as I can. There is no cure at the moment, but I have hope that one will be found in less than 2 years. I have become more spiritual. I am on my knees in prayer more, and I go to church every weekend. Prayer and worship does seem to help me, although God has not taken any of my suggestions.

And speaking of suggestions, I thing we need to come up with a 12 step recovery program and a detox program. I find it helps to be around other sufferers. We frequently suffer in silence or family, friends and co workers don't understand. Even a W sticker can set off and uncontrollable spasm.
