It is really a laugh to read it because even though they talk about her faults, they try to clean it up in the end.

This new book about her, "An Intimate Portrait of the First Lady" by Ron Kessler tells us

29. I feel badly for people whose lives get turned inside and out by tabloids

I don't hate Laura or the twins. That car accident happened a long time ago-she was barely an adult at the time. I don't see the purpose of attacking her, she's not the president. So why drag her personal tragedies into the spotlight for everyone to see? It serves no purpose other than to humiliate a first lady.

And don't say that it's okay because the tabloids did it to Hillary and Chelsea Clinton. It wasn't fair in either case.
