Helen looks so hip! The blossoms are just glorious, as is her smile.

Thanks to hederheid, DUers, and the volunteers who worked so long and hard today... some were not even DUers, but friends that DUers reached out to. One became a new DU member today, as I understand it!

It was a joy to follow this whole effort unfold. We don't have very many patriots 'front & center' these days, and it was wonderful to have the opportunity to acknowlege one of the few.

Now we need to get her photo added to the 'THANK YOU PATRIOT' http://thankyoupatriot.com/ site, along with Barbara Boxer, John Conyers, Cynthia McKinney, Stephanie Tubbs Jones, Keith Obermann, and other tellers-of-truth.

how Helen is undoubtedly feeling tonight . . . she noted that she receives tons of hate mail, so seeing all of these roses sent by a large group of individuals must have warmed her heart immensely . . .

a great strategy for her next White House press conference -- if she can get away with it -- would be to bring a blow-up of one of the photos to show Bush . . . and, in doing so, read him the inscription on the card that accompanied the flowers . . . THAT would get some national coverage of the PNAC! . . .
