For my 500th post, I just wanted to say,

After that, they just rocket on up and before you know it, you're over 5000. DU is the best. Glad you're here.

2. The bigger the number just indicates the stronger the addiction - I

can't get through some days without stopping in to see what the real news is (days before M$M) or just to laugh at someone's joke or toon posting about the idiots in charge. It's a sanity saver many days - if I didn't get the relief, I'd probably go postal over some really stupid Freeper comment out in public.

4. We need a 12 step program for DU addiction.

:) A month ago DU had a software "glitch" and I was BANNED! OMG....I was hysterical. I had to go without DU for a few hours and thought I'd go beserk!:crazy: I can go days without coming here when I have other things I MUST do, but just knowing I couldn't get on here if I wanted to, made me nuts. I need help. It's been a 6+ year addiction.:crazy:

As I've posted to others before, you should be very encouraged to have passed the '500' mark.

At 20,000 posts, DU members achieve the benefit of having the televangelist of their choice thrown to the lions. So you see, incentive is built into the DU plan.
