The little paltry fines they propose are insulting to thinking people.

2 ideas not heard:

A forgery/tamper-proof ID system.

2 strikes and you're out law for those who hire illegally.
1st strike: Heavy fines.
2nd strike: Business and or property seized and sold by the government while the owners/CEOs will serve a mandatory minimum of 5-10 years in prison.

once this group of people get their green card or whatever they plan on giving them the employer will have to pay them a min. wage. They will get rid of them and hire more illegals, it's a never ending cycle unless you go after the business or people who hire them.
