Even 70 year old Republican ladies support the Dems on Bush

but are disgusted at how the Democrats are doing nothing to stop this president.

Funny story:

Yesterday, a sweet little old lady, about 70, working in an antique shop, and I got to talking. I was careful, until she said the economy stinks, and we have two more years of this fool. I was shocked!! She said that she was a lifelong Republican, but had enough of this bunch, with their "war making, and lying, and that New Orleans - what a terrible disgrace to our nation." Now remember - she said she was a lifelong Republican.

And then the topper - she said this to me:

"The only thing I don't like about the Democrats is that they don't do anything to stop this President and the Republicans. They don't stand up to him."

Let that sink in. And this is a conservative area in which I live.

DO YOU STUPID DEMOCRATS IN THE SENATE GET THAT????? LITTLE OLD REPUBLICAN LADIES WANT YOU TO STAND UP TO THIS PRESIDENT, SO DO IT, DAMMIT!!!!!!!

If the Dems would stand up, the Republicans would not be able to elect a dogcatcher for the next 30 years.
