1. We need to protest by buying as little gas as we can - if everyone cuts
back, demand decreases and prices go down.
Combine trips, walk and bike where you can, even using public transit (if you can) one day a week for work will help!

15. While we occupy a country with millions of barrels of crude..smirk
One wonders how the republican voters now feel. They wanted it all. They got it all. They're taking it all in the arse same as the Democrats. Great planning folks, way impressive.

Edited on Fri Mar-31-06 05:56 PM by capi888
Michigan had a fairly warm winter, and little snow. So now the tourism kicks in, gas for lawn mowers, farmers working their fields, so, Up Up goes the gas prices. This is truly gouging the middle working class. I am from SW MI too....

18. The cost of "MORALITY"and fake "Family Values", is very High!
Edited on Sat Apr-01-06 07:47 AM by Hubert Flottz
It costs a lot to stop Gay folks from getting married and to take away women's rights! But THEY voted for ALL of this! The WHOLE Package! If a GOPer gripes to you about the cost of gasoline, remind them of how Gore and Clinton once put a stop to the gouging! Remind them of how the last democratic led Senate, investigated the gouging and stopped it! Then remind them that the price of gasoline has about doubled, since the Supreme Court Elected Bush in 2000! Repub Morals and FAMILY VALUES are EXPENSIVE! So are their endless wars and their endless tax cuts for the wealthy and their ENDLESS CORPORATE WELFARE!

EDIT...Their theater prop type "Morality" and FAMILY VALUES, don't value YOUR FAMILY or mine!

The GOP CARES about turning all of our money into their money, before they get run out of town. The only up side to the gas gouging, is that the whole country is catching on and Bush's numbers will fall even more!

10. It's crazy
I'm from west MI too. I have no idea what causes prices to jump up like that for no apparent reason but it's maddening.
