Sorry. I really don't like her show.
I am always bugging my local Air America station to take her off and put anyone else on in that time slot. I find the bathroom humor childish.

13. Dkos (willers) is trying to set up a flower thing -
using sunflowers! I think it's a great idea, if DU'ers want to get in on it. One of their folks was a big help to us with the Flowers for Helen.

I don't know how to post there :P or find anyone, or find a post, or link to it, or anything, but here's the gist:

Thanks! (0 / 0)
Back now after a nap (I have a horrible cold). Thanks for the diary pimping!

Someone suggested flags, so I combined the two... If the florist will do it we're going to send your choice of 5 sunflowers or 3 sunflowers + a little American flag.

Sounds like this is going to take off nicely... expect your marching orders tomorrow sometime. 8-)

I don't like Bizarro World... I want to go home to America.

17. Blue Hydrangeas (sp.?)
I think they're masculine, yet graceful, and, wasn't he grace under fire? I was very proud of him, and furious that he had so little dem support. As a matter of fact, I think I'll change my avatar again; least I can do right now to show my support for Russ. I wonder if Hillary will notice? I still support her, BTW. I just need to show my feelings for that great democrat who practically stood alone today. Shame on you DEMS!

Edited on Fri Mar-31-06 08:07 PM by DearAbby
with Two words on the cards....IMPEACH BUSH!

Imagine the avalanche of post cards piled on the floor of the senate? It is possible to do this. People have been saying those on Capitol hill are out of touch with the main stream Americans...Maybe we should bring them up to speed? Write them postcards

26. I think Something is called for, but maybe
we can coordinate with the Kossaks?? Like the above poster reported, they are trying to set up a diary with the sunflowers idea. If you haven't gone to Kos and read the whole diary that tells about DU and the roses, be sure to read it and all of the comments!

(boy, I wish we could do something with "fine" and "gold." what a terrific idea, but what?)

37. For Feingold: a beautiful orchid and contributions to PPF
I like the roses/sunflowers idea but of course he will just give them away. And I don't think it would mean the same to him as to Barbara Boxer or Helen Thomas.

There is a top notch orchid grower close to his Madison/Middleton office where we could get something nice that he and his staff would keep and enjoy. Or we could get them a gift certificate to pick something out.

More importantly - we could also take the next two weeks to contribute to and fundraise for the PPF. After all, what we really want from Feingold, is more progressive leadership, and more power for Feingold!
