My first thoughts on this nonsense poll is . . .

What ordinary U.S. citizen has the relevant information to determine if national identification cards for all citizens could assist the U.S. in the fight against terror? Do you recall reading classified documents to make the determination? Nope. Neither did I.

So. The bottom line in most, if not all, these newspaper and other online polls is to up the hits on their websites because it may push up their revenues from the advertisements appearing on their websites . . . which, basically, is why they put up these silly polls.
