I agree with your post (before you clicked the link) every, single word, and I was really disappointed to see so many here, as you said, acting as though we have to give the 'anonymous' cops any benefit of any doubt.

I read tonight that they can't reveal their names because they are investigating the situation!!! Since when does this happen, that cops hide their IDs??

I also read that she showed her him her ID but he decided that she 'had a different hairdo' so he didn't believe she was a congresswoman.

Did this story come out before today? Because Neil Boortz mentioned her hairdo on his show early today ~ he compared her to a 'ghetto slut' or some such thing.

Something's going on with this, imo. They may have set her up, knowing she would't wear the pin (which many others don't either) provoke her, knowing she would react, and then go after her. I'm not saying that's what happened, but why are they anonymous? She should file a suit before they arrest her ~

Sad thing is this thread was just lighthearted in its spirit to see if I could 'getcha', but though not a real story now might actually be one in a few days. I still don't have a firm opinion yet, as there aren't enough facts to go round. If she did in fact strike him in any way, even minor, because she was frustrated at having to go through the ordeal of being checked, then she should be arrested like anyone else would be. But I don't know yet if that really was the case or not or if they are doing this out of vindictiveness. Just have to wait and see as more comes out I guess.
