The GOP - Desperate, floundering, trapped in a time warp.

The members of the GOP are as much Neo-Cons as those who Franklin termed Pseudo-Christians. They are people who would ignore history thinking that they are somehow better than those who came before them in being able to deceive, distract and fool the people.

Yet now they are repeating history, struggling to remain in power as they did after having infiltrated the seats of power. This is not the first nor will it be the last time that those who would deceive and keep us in ignorance.

These men who would use, harm and throw away anyone for their power must be held at bay in an eternal vigil by the true patriots. This time has come, my fellow Americans, to stand up and be heard, to tell the establishment that we will no longer allow them to keep this population in ignorance. That we will no longer allow them to try to use hate against us or to manipulate us.

I propose a new bill of rights be made that is by, for and of the people. One that takes the power from the corporations and places it back where it belongs, in the hands of an educated, informed and critical populace.

These rights might not have been considered by those who were the founding fathers, yet they are no less important now than they were then. This new Bill of Rights is vital in the face of the abuses of power we are seeing that have plagued America more than a few times in our history. IS now worse than any other time, I can't really say, but now is the time of the worst firsts to be added with those already commonly occurring!

Right 1 - That all sentient beings regardless of origin shall share basic rights included in the right of a speedy trial, to be free from abuse and protected from abuse to the best of our ability, not limited to being unable to turn over prisoners to be interrogated by other nations with more aggressive views on the use of torture.

Right 2 - The right to be free of illegal search and seizure, spying or any form of surveillance without warrant and specifically spelled out with firm parameters of what is being sought in this search with specific parameters or time before the warrant must be reaffirmed.

Right 3 - That only citizens and living beings that qualify as being sentient may have special rights, all corporations are businesses and are not to be allowed special rights or privileges to be bestowed upon them.

Right 4 - That the Government, having proved it is not worthy of being trusted with maintaining secrecy shall have independent citizens chosen by the citizens, not the government, to work as an independent observers. Their job to force nearly complete transparency of the Government. The Government may maintain secrets to those who are placed to gain information for the protection of the United States, the same may be applied to other limited cases.

Right 5 - All citizens have equal rights to marry, worship or not, and hold control of their persons while fit to do such. No special rights may be endowed upon any group with any affect of regard to race, creed, sexual orientation or choice of lifestyle.

Right 6 - All citizens have the right to reasonable health care so that they may live healthy productive lives.

Right 7 - All citizens have the right to the essentials for life, these include basic nutritional, boarding and other basic needs.

Right 8 - All people have the right to a clean and healthy environment, free of poisons introduced through the air, water or food sources.

Right 9 - All citizens have the right to an education and vocational training.

Right 10 - All citizens have the right to a fair days living wage for a fair days work. No citizen should need to work multiple jobs to provide the basic necessities of life for their family or them self.
