Saddam was connected with al-Qaeda. I remember the discussion here on DU. The transcript was changed on line and obviously the transcript Russert was referring to was edited. But Al did have Russert quirming..did you notice after the commercial break the subject was changed but yet Al insisted on reading the full quote.

work for Cuomo? Although some of his points hold water, Dems did not speak up, at least the Democrats Al supports; Hillary and Bill Clinton.......no word of Howard Dean yet....on second thought Russert is a White House water boy!
