People use "make your own ad" contest to blast SUV

Chevrolet created a contest to let users make their own ad for the Chevy Tahoe, but the company let a couple slip by under its nose depicting the SUV as a gas-guzzling, environment-destroying machine. Here are two clips from Chevy's site.

6. We are doing something right. DU was mentioned this

morning during Washington Journal on C-Span. The wacky reichwing blogger (refuse to give web site name - no free publicity from moi) kept making the statement that uber crazy liberal blogs like Daily Kos and Democratic Underground keep calling Bush Hitler, John Kerry calling soldiers terrorists. Over and over he kept saying we are just terrible, yadda, yadd, yadda.

Taylor Marsh of taylormarsh.com (new one to me that I will have to check out) called him out on it and then blew him out of the water said ALL the major liberal bloggers (and conveniently mentioned we substantially out number the reichwing blogs) support the troops, Kerry NEVER called soldiers terrorists and no one believes that Bush is Hitler. She was clear, concise and had her facts down. The other guy just parroted the Norquist talking points "du jour" (to quote a really dumb ass prezident).

Those Tahoe ads are priceless - new readers come for our humor but stay around for the facts.
