MUST SEE: Gen. Zinni Savages BushCo on MTP re: Iraq War
We need to get video of MTP segment today: Gen. Tony Zinnin (Ret.) discusses BushCo "Throwing away 10 years of planning" for winning the peace in Iraq after Gulf War I. Said Rummy should resign; "ridiculous statements" are coming from admin.; and Zinni looked at the intel in 2002 and determined there was "no solid proof Saddam had WMD...the containment worked remarkably well." He reported this to the Senate Intel Comm. before the war, to no avail.

In 2002, Gen. Zinnin said, "These guys don't understand what they're getting into."

He has a book out called, "The Battle for Peace" that should get some tongues wagging in Washington and move us closer to impeachment, I hope.

IMPEACH THE CHIMPS!

1. Next step is to have a mainstream reporter ask Dubya to
respond to General Zinni's observations.

I believe General Zinni's military credentials pretty much eclipse Dubya's, don't they?

Thank you, General, for some much needed tough talk.

2. Next Steps (so predictable)
Zinni gets swiftboated big time Rove style

There's no way Chickenshit-in-Chief Bush will counter Zinni directly....
he'll just send out his henchmen to smear and discredit another good smart man.

3. Sad to say, that has been the Rovian option for some time now.
At the same time, it's kinda tough to smear Zinni. That guy is solid granite.

7. True, but you can never have enough praise of a military champion
who tells us that Bush and Rumsfeld are full of it.

8. People..
.... aren't going to buy the smears as easily as in the past. The days of spin/PR trumping reality are OVER for this failed administration.
