Explosions, grisly finds in Baghdad - Bush is unconvinced about civil war
Baghdad
April 2, 2006 - 11:04PM
Insurgents blew up a small Shi'ite mosque north-east of Baghdad today, while police reported the discovery of nearly 40 bodies in several neighbourhoods of the Iraqi capital.

The US military reported the death of three American soldiers.

The status of the crew of a US helicopter that crashed yesterday south-west of Baghdad remained unclear.

In Baqouba, 55km north-east of Baghdad, unidentified gunmen planted explosives around the small Guba Shi'ite mosque and blew it up, police said. No casualties were reported.

Gunmen assassinated a Sunni Arab sheikh, Abdul-Minaam Awad, today in his village of Zobaa 60km west of Baghdad, a Sunni clerical association announced.

A prominent Sunni MP in Baghdad, meanwhile, reported his brother disappeared last week in a possible kidnapping.

Also today, six insurgents died while manufacturing a homemade bomb inside a house in Madain, about 20km south-east of Baghdad, police said.

Two American soldiers were killed by a roadside bomb while on patrol in central Baghdad late yesterday, the US military said. --> and this war will end up costing US. taxpayers trillions because of one man called Bush?!!

3. Why would anyone rely on Junior's assessment of ANYTHING?
Junior says that this isn't civil war. Interesante'.

Junior and his also said that Saddam had WMD.

Junior and his administration also said that they saw aluminum tubes that were specifically used to reconstitute a nuclear weapons program.

Junior and his administration also declared that they saw mobile weapons labs on satellite. They pointed them out!

Junior and his administration also said that we would be greeted with flowers and candy--as liberators.

Junior and his administration also said Iraq would be "a cakewalk."

Junior and his administration repeatedly said (too many times to count) that we were "turning a corner in Iraq.

Junior and his administration also said that the insurgency was in its last throes.

Junior and his administration have said--since 2004--that things would improve in Iraq.

WHY WOULD ANYONE EVEN DOCUMENT THE OPINIONS OF THESE LYING, ILL-INFORMED, SCUMBAGS!?
