Anyone see Rice faking diplomatic discussions with our Iraqi puppets?
Edited on Sun Apr-02-06 04:18 PM by NNN0LHI
They were all playing footsie in the American controlled Green Zone together. I was waiting for a game of Three Card Monty to break out at any moment.

Who does this woman think she is fooling? Herself maybe?

1. No. There's about 36% of the American public stupid enough to think
that this horrific woman is doing 'great' things for the Iraqis. And that this administration isn't a pile of traitorous, dangerous, lying thugs.

2. She's letting them know our patience has run out
If they don't form a democracy right now the US will...we're gonna...nevermind.

3. She's got the gaul to tell the Iraqi prime minister to get his hat. He
isn't enough of a puppet.

4. You think the Bush Administration is choreographing all this?
I'm not so sure. The deadlock in forming a government seems to be from the Iraqis' inability to reach a consensus. Jaafari, the interim Prime Minister, wishes to remain in that position and is allying himself with al-Sadr to do so. Al-Sadr is, put simply, not the strongest proponent of democracy and pluralism. I can see many officials having a problem with this.

There are plenty of respectable candidates available from the group elected last December, but until al-Jaafari withdrawals, I don't see any progress on negotiations.
