Anybody waving a flag in their audience's face, ANYBODY, and that includes Mexicans AND Americans, is treating their audience like a bunch of cows. EXACTLY like a bunch of cows. And anyone reacting to it is doing what THEY want them to do.

Are we all very clear on this, yet? Or shall we spend another few days in the Twilight Zone where everyone's opinions on immigration become magically more extreme along whichever axis they already lie, due NOT to anyone's decisions or legislation passed or actual facts but due to which cow-controlling device has been more or less "disrespected"?

2. But you're reacting, too. You are judging them provocative.

I mean, it's not an extreme emotional reaction, but I too think that I get to judge the intent and message of someone who is waving a flag at a political rally. They are trying to make a point. I'm trying to figure out what it is.

A flag is no different than a placard, but nobody gets called cows for reading it.

In fact, why exactly go to the point of calling people cows, anyway? Looks like waving flags isn't the only way to provoke a reaction, is it?
