Cat, I must respond to the F*eekers. They're so cute when they're mad, aren't they?
>he is a waste of taxpayer's money<
Let's talk "waste of taxpayer's money," shall we? How about seven years and $70 million to find a stained blue dress?
>is fattening his bank account<
Yeah. He gets paid, but I'll bet after one divides his work week into the cash he's paid, the taxpayers of the USA are getting a bargain. Of course, it's okay when Halliburton or other right-wing concerns make massive profit off the taxpayer's dime.
>Fitzgerald is an idiot<
Hmmm. Lemme' see here. Patrick Fitzgerald went to Regis High School in New York City, which requires an entrance exam, which requires three years of LATIN, which requires students to keep their grades up or they get kicked out. He graduated from Amherst and was Phi Beta Kappa, so you know he was cracking the books there. He got into (and graduated from,) Harvard Law. He wasn't a legacy admission, so you KNOW he is a) brilliant and b) must have had amazing referral letters from his undergrad professors.
Then again, that Ivy League degree must not mean as much as it used to. Yale gave one to George W. Bush.
I wonder if those criticizing our beloved PF would be willing to forward their high school and college transcripts. We'll see who the "idiot" is, won't we?
>he's hiding something, they don't know what<
He's keeping the lid on his investigation, unlike other special prosecutors who spent most mornings holding a press conference at the base of their driveway just to hear themselves talk.
>is protecting someone, they don't know who<
He's protecting those who aren't named in indictments. That's the way it's supposed to be.
>he has no case<
Yeah, that's why he managed to get the first indictments of a member of the White House executive staff in 130 years. That's also why Libby has FOUR different attorneys, not to mention their associates and staff.
>he's prosecuting Libby when he knows that Libby didn't do it (so Libby didn't lie and obstruct justice?)<
I'm sure it's his life's dream to be charged with prosecutorial misconduct. Unfortunately for our friends on the dark side, it's not going to happen. Libby has no defense.
>Libby's lawyers will eat him for lunch<
Actually, it's the other way around. Libby's attorneys have been fairly unsuccessful in their quest to get the case thrown out, to get Fitzgerald removed for "lack of oversight," on and on and on and on. Libby's probably burning several thousands of dollars an hour for his legal advice.
>this is prosecutorial misconduct (so say the Freepers)<
He did his investigation, he sees a crime has been committed. He is doing what the law (and what the government,) is asking him to do. How exactly is this "prosecutorial misconduct"?
>Fitzgerald is a SOB<
I'm sure his mother was a very nice person. She raised an amazing son, that's for sure ;-). She's no longer living, so one would think that the F*eekers wouldn't stoop so low as to say something nasty about someone's late mother, but we're talking about the F*eekers here, aren't we?
>Fitzgerald should be indicted<
For what? Being smarter than the entire Bush administration?
>Fitzgerald is an ass<
Again, we don't know. Maybe he goes home and kicks the cat. (Probably not.) His critics are remarkably quiet. Those who think he's tremendous are legion.
>Fitzgerald is a #1 Dem lap dog buffoon<
Yup. That's right. He's a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig Democrat. That's why he's a two-time Bush appointee (like Bush would ever appoint a Democrat to anything.) That's why he's gone out of his way to indict lawbreakers regardless of party affiliation, why he changed his voting registration to "no party" and why Al Gore recognized him publicly as doing his job "without fear nor favor."
>And then one of them wanted to know why Fitzgerald would stick his tongue out after he would answer the reporters questions during his news conference.<
Cat, didn't he ask for some water a couple of times?
