Why is there so little coverage of the Enron trial?
Compared to, for example, the Scott Peterson murder trial, which (in my opinon) only mattered to family and friends of the people involved. Yet it was endlessly covered nationwide, to the point of absurdity. The Enron case matters to a large number of people, since the events affected so many people, particularly Enron employees, yet it receives only scant, token coverage.... what gives?

2. Too complicated and..
not one missing young white girl. The Houston Chronicle, to its credit, has a major story every day on it however.

9. I think you're right about the missing young white girl
If there was one of those Rita Crosby and Greta would be parked out front giving us daily accounts of the missing girl and how tragic it is.

4. Maybe
because Ken Lay was Bush's #1 campaign donor, or because people might start asking Cheney what role Ken Lay had in setting the nation's energy policies at those secret meetings at the beginning of the Bush (mis)administration...
