But I have the feeling that 2000 permanently altered the course of our history, at least in this era. It just seemed like a twisted end to the "American" century.

6. I was always taught that this can't happen, this coup we are living now,
that the safeguards have all been put in there. Trouble is they didn't think about not having a fair and honest press, just couldn't imagine it I think.
