That aside, I see nothing wrong with her assertion. It is the truth. Many DO prefer to have blacks not seen and heard. The majority of them were horrified that FEMA paid hotel bills so that "lazy blacks could get free cable and room service".

that the SCOTUS ruling be upheld, mainly because of the makeup of the Senate — if it was held to a vote, there would be a 50-50 tie, with the President of the Senate casting the deciding vote. And who was the President of the Senate? VP Al Gore. He cared more about the country and the possibilities of tearing it apart than he did about his personal career. (And remember, this was when everyone just thought that Bush would be a lame, do-nothing one-termer.)

I am educated about Rep. McKinney & am a fan of hers. She's been fighting the Bush Adm. hard since she got there & has grilled Rumsfeld & others about their various nefarious activities. She's been persuing the election fraud in Florida and connections between Bush & Bin Laden. She suspects Bush might have known about 9/11. Almost single-handedly, she's held hearings on the abuse of Africans by gold-mining corporations. She's a very dangerous character to the Bushies because she's smart, informed & doesn't back down. Maybe you need to get an education, since I haven't seen you list or say one fact about her. I don't doubt that the Bush Admin. is out to get her; which is why it bothers me when she gets into a tussle w/Capitol Police or says something off-the-wall.
