But we seem to be in the midst of a bunch of changes. Tom Delay is retiring?! Bush is doing a tour of little backward places, doing his best Goober imitation. Andrew Card resigns and they are saying there will be more to come. The changes seem to be building up momentum? What's next?

1. Saint Tom

Since he's been hounded out of office by those godless, baby-eating libruls, Tom will be canonized by the Falwellians and make gajillions in speaking fees before and after he's the Hammer in the Slammer. He may even become a prison minister like Chuck Colson...as if we need another one of those. Nevertheless, he's a true martyr for the theofascists now. His trial record with one of those evil judges will say one thing, and he and the entire vast, right-wing conspiracy and the televangeliars will say thousands of completely different things.
