1. Sure took me by surprise.

I'm thinking an Abramoff connected indictment is coming, or Delay just realized that he has no power except his ability to extract money and use it to fund republicans, which was going away forever, and thought to himself "No way am I going to sit around and being one of the reps whose job is to vote the way Boner tells them to vote."
