Check out this crap from whitehouse.gov
When President George W. Bush threw out the first pitch at the 2001 World Series, the moment not only continued a Presidential tradition, but it symbolized America's desire to continue life undeterred after the attacks of September 11, 2001.

They'll never let go of that. Never.

Good lord, I hate those people.

19. May Fearless Leader have the same fate....
Andrew Johnson, Lincoln's successor, was so thrilled to be invited to see the first game played among teams from different states, that he gave his White House staff time off from work to go to the game. Johnson set up chairs for his staff along the first base line of the White Lot, an area located between the South Lawn of the White House and an incomplete Washington Monument that stood only 152 feet tall. Today, the area is called the Ellipse, and energetic federal staffers play softball games on the grounds each spring in the shadows of the towering, 555-foot Washington Monument.

2. Revision history, in particular 9-11, is all they have!

Add some baseball, apple pie and the American flag with a Cross attached and you have the g.o.p. pretty much all figured out.

5. There is NOTHING these people will not tie to 9/11
When all is said and done, what they are really doing is dishonoring and defiling the memory of all those who died that day, as well as the family and friends left behind. Swear to God, I am gonna dance in the streets the day Dubya walks out of the WH and turns over the keys to someone else!

13. Pretty bad when your shining moment of glory is ...
the day the towers fell. The worst failure of national security ever the defining moment of Bush's presidency.

20. Yeah, that always gets to me.
A resume I sent to prospective employers wouldn't include any reference to a day when I completely failed at my job on national television. Yet Bush puts 9/11 front and center.

It's like watching a magic trick. People should want to kick Bush out of office for his fuckups whenever he mentions 9/11, but it works in reverse. His support is based on 9/11. The man whose failures let 9/11 happen was somehow able to use his imaginary strength on national defense as the core of his re-election bid in 2004.

It's maddening.

14. It's their Bread n Butter.
Preznit Bewsh wouldn't HAVE a legacy if it weren't for this. Frankly, I don't know why they mention 9/11 as much as they do - need we remind them that this, the worst attack on American soil, happened ON THEIR WATCH, and let's put it bluntly, with their foreknowledge? Hey, you guys WANT to be associated with catastrophe, middle class ruin and failure, then by all means do so. Me, I'd rather go down in history for the GOOD I did for mankind, not for the contribution of its destruction. But hey, I guess there's no such thing as bad publicity, right?

Like I always ask of Repukes - name ONE thing Fearless Leader has done right.

NAME ONE.

Even harder of a question is for them to name one thing they've done right for the middle class of this country.

when he walked onto the field. Made sure he was flanked by men in uniform so the crowd wouldn't boo him.
