You're right of course. Now it's no big deal. My question is why is he making this decision now? Didn't he just fight a primary battle? All of that money from people just wasted- I'd be a pissed contributor. Is it Abramoff? What is making him quit now? GOP pressure? These people never ever give up unless they have to. I won't find out on TV that's for sure.

The very sources of Delay's power--money, lobbyists, partisanship--extended to the media and those polticians that make themselves avaiable to the media and has been ingnored to date. Delay's resignation has to be noticed, but the sea change can't be, unless the story begins
