That boy (Justin Berry) who testified had LOUSY parents..I know internet porn is a problem, but internet combined with lonely teens with bad parents is the real problem here..

The kid went to Mexico to be with his dad after his website was discovered by friends, and what did DAD do??

Got him hookers & cocaine and set up a better website for him :eyes:

Sometimes I think our congress people just want to hear all the "details".. None of this testimony needed to be televised..

I cannot believe that any kid would be so naive to think that complete strangers would send expensive gifts without expecting something.. He even said he raced home from school to "collect" the gifts sent via UPS..so his Mom wouldn't see them...but didn't Mom wonder where all that fancy stuff came from??

...and,yes-parents are responsible for knowing what their kids are viewing on the computer(within reason).I have my computer in a public area...so my kids haven't cruised too many porn sites,chatrooms.MySpace kind of bothers me,but I feel the need to give them SOME privacy(although they know without a doubt what I think of child molestors and adults who exploit kids).

At this point I don't think she even wants to use it...I insist that behind every chat room screen name is a 300 pound sex offender planning someone's abduction.

OK so maybe I have gone too far but even as an adult I have had to deal with some real weirdos (even on something as seemingly benign as Ebay for God's sake!)

It's hard to believe kids are that gullible and adults can be this deranged but clearly they can be--SCARY stuff!

When that kid was testifying...am I the only one wondering why the US justice dept tried to screw this kid over?

Maybe I am wearing a tin foil suit but I would love to see this kid's list of names of customers.

There have been so many oddities about the bushit admin...I wonder if there is someone in the admin tied to child porn?

Having this kid testify is just more porn to entertain Americans and their sicko Congress critters. The problem here is bad parenting and this does not belong in Congress except to distract from the very serious problems they SHOULD be attending to rather than this titillation.
