Look folks this McKinney thing is simple - we dont have the FACTS

Everyone is making judgements and debating this to no end. But its a he-said, she-said case right now and they are not releasing the video tape.

NOBODY HERE knows what REALLY happened. So everyone should stop assuming and just WAIT for the facts to come out.

IF she did what they say, the appropriate charges will come and she will have a chance to defend herself. Then the tape will HAVE TO BE VIEWED.

Come on DU, we are better than making half-cocked reaction judgements based on NO FACTS.

2. She made one excellent point, however

It is the responsibility of the Senate and House pages to learn every member's name and recognize them by face. That's one of the requirements for the job. If it is not one of the requirements for the Capitol police, IMHO, that's a big problem. To say that they didn't recognize someone who has served for 11 years because she changed her hair (one of their excuses), that's another big problem.

Other than that, you're right, we don't have all the facts.
