Is the capital cop in the McKinney incident a plant ala Gannon/Guckert?
what do we know about the Officer?
what can we find out?

i am very suspicious about this incident and would not be surprised at all that this is a set up.

we need to know more about this especially with the RW thugs all over the M$M spinning and sliming.

peace

30. We had a political sign war in my town in past two years---cop blamed ME
because I write op-eds when people do slimy things related to development and ethics in my town.

When I told the cop the other party had been stealing Dem signs for two years, she told me to cut the crap and start telling the truth! This WAS the truth.

We got it sorted out finally but it took awhile. Point is, sometimes you're blamed for things you didn't do because of what you've done beforehand. In my case, I fight for open space and ethical behavior in my town and some people don't like it.

7. I doubt it.
1) Why McKinney?

2) It would be nearly impossible to nail down when McKinney or any member would be coming or going, which of the numerous entrances she would've used to get into Cannon (or whichever building the incident occurred at), who would've been there to witness it, etc etc etc. Member staff has hard enough time with this stuff....forget about a Capitol Police Officer being able to figure it out.

3) How could they have planned her reaction? What if she had turned around and said "Oh, I'm sorry," and that was the end of it. What happens then?

4) McKinney is the one who has been calling all the press conferences about it....not the Capitol Police.

..but this whole administration plant thing is nonsense. It doesn't focus the fight where it needs to be focused. It's based on nothing but pure speculation, and the logistics surrounding something like that are pretty much unfeasible.

I'm in Capitol Hill offices very frequently and interact with a lot of these folks, from Cap Police to Members. This theory is incredibly out there. We need to put our strenghts to better use.

Have you been under a rock for the past 5 years? She's being "swiftboated", IMO. Familiar with the term?

She is one of the few members of Congress who continue to call this treasonous administration on their BS. She has been relentless.

Do you think that this is as far-fetched as the photographer who lost his job the other day for taking a picture of Scalia? As far-fetched as outing a CIA COVERT Agent? AS far-fetched as the President of the US LYING us into an illegal war? As far-fetched as the President spying on the American people without a warrant? Far-fetched as stealing three elections? The list of "far-fetched" goes on and on and on...

"Utterly ridiculous" doesn't seem like a valid response anymore, now does it?

Peace.

my guess is that he very likely could be a plant.

Why are "they" covering for him? Too many questions --

He should be fired for NOT recognizing McKinney -- period -- end of discussion.

My guess is that ALL of the Congressional Reps are in a hurry -- going from appointment to appointment -- rushing to the floor to vote -- it is the duty of the cops to recognize each and every Congressional Rep.

The video of a day of this cop or a whole week would be educational -- who does he know -- who are his friends? He should be investigated. Why is his name being withheld -- what does he (they) have to hide??

securing congresspeople..not knowing who Cynthia is or what she looks like..he was supposed to be securiing "her!!!"

so if he doesn't know what she looks like and he is supposed to be there for "her " security..how the hell secure was she????????

and since she showed her Captiol id..( not the pin..ok) but her captiol hill security badge..wtf was this guys problem????????

this has never passed the smell test to me!

and i will say it a thousand times..any time someone grabs a woman from behind he better look out with todays socialization of women..we hear it over and over...if someone grabs you from behind ..react fast and decisive..

and those who have had any security classes have even stronger reaction tactics..

i have had such security classes..and if anyone were to grab me from behind..they would need nasal surgery..it wouldn't be a poke ...with a cell phone..

it would be hard and decisive!
and i would not ask questions first..

14. Yeah, and Hillary
murdered Vince Foster. You don't like to see Cynthia smeared or convicted in the court of public opinion. I get that and I'm with you on it, but it's not much better to start smearing the cop who, in all likelihood, is just some working guy caught up in a mess. It's unfair to target him as a provocateur or racist before you know any of the facts, and yes it's hypocritical too.

her from getting to the vote that she had only 15 minutes to get to, and heaven knows from how far away she had to go to get there ... and on friendlier times, i've watched on 60 minutes or other programs the DISTANCE that there is from some of these people's offices to the floor of the house, and believe me, 15 minutes doesn't cover that far away distance that they have to get to, sometimes.

35. Whoa, wait a second...
Inexperienced cop? We bordered on common sense there! We know the simplest/most likely explanations are not to be granted any creedence!

Here's my theory: When someone breeches security at any of the Congressional office buildings, they typically have to be evacuated and CP has to identify who/what made it through without proper scrutiny.

This, as you can imagine and I have experienced, is a major pain in the ass and pisses pretty much everyone off. This is probably what inspired the effort to stop McKinney from proceeding before she could get any further into the building. Maybe the officer could've been more tactful about it...but either way I don't think the motive was anything remotely sinister involved. I don't think any was getting swiftboated, or that McKinney was being specifically targeted.

40. And neither where you...
..and clearly you're just not familiar enough with how security procedures at places like that work so you come up with these completely outlandish theories and expect some sort of corroborating info out there to prove you right. I don't think Mckinney's lawyers would even touch that one.

I don't see what point there is into doing a full background investigation into this particular officer...frankly, I find it a little disturbing it's even suggested. Does this incident warrant a full investigation of this officers back ground/friends/etc? No way...

If you think there's a conspiracy that needs to be investigated and wish to request something of that nature, type it up and PM it to me. I'll hand deliver it to whomever in Congress you want to receive it.

Tripp sought out right ring publisher Goldberg and offered to write a book about what she knew about her experience working in the Clinton White House. Goldberg looked over the Tripp's notes and said something like "There is nothing bookworthy here, come back when you have more" wink, wink. Tripp then put her giant snooper into high gear and began to investigate rumors that Clinton was "carrying on" with a certain intern.

Tripp made it her mission befriend the intern, Monica Lewinsky.

The capitol cop may have been sent on a similar mi$$ion by another right wing whacko.

The Capitol incident alone is strange, but when a right-wing TV station in Atlanta comes up with some BS over a plane ticket expense a week later, it starts to look concerted.
