Who hates the other more - liberals or conservatives?

Ok... I know it is a town hall article. Hold you nose, but I thought it was an interesting debate.

Here are three questions comparing liberals and conservatives:
1. During the 2004 elections, which car was more likely to be "keyed," i.e., deliberately scratched -- a car with a "John Kerry" bumper sticker in an overwhelmingly conservative area, or a car with a "George W. Bush" sticker in an overwhelmingly liberal area?

I'd be surprised if Dems cars weren't damaged more. They don't like anyone that's not just exactly like them.

A friend just put a "Compared to Bush, Nixon doesn't look so bad" sticker on his car, and I cautioned him to be careful because so many right wing crazies are in the area.

It is the argument George Lakoff makes in his book Moral Politics. Right-wingers are authoritarians, and they align themselves with power. Therefore, anyone or any idea that is against power is a threat to them.

Threatening the ORDER, dontcha know.

inclined to violence. As a matter of fact, using violence to solves their problems is part of their basic philosophy. They like to beat their wives, use corporal punishment to "train" their child (when they aren't sodomizing them), and they really love to use bombs and bullets on other countries.

5. I can't argue with what he says about keyed cars, Ann Coulter or

who gets booed at speeches because I haven't been in situations to see it. But if he wants to see pure, naked hatred, he needs to go visit the freepers. We have a few hot-headed posters here too, but I've seen more anger here at DU than I've seen hatred.

in the same way that Nazis hate Jews, KKK people hate blacks, Sith hate Jedi, Death Eaters hate Muggles, etc.

They won't be happy unless EVERY SINGLE liberal on the planet is exterminated
