I don't have a link but it's at the CBS website today. She goes into Al Sadr's territory for a story.
I believe she's a TRUE journalist. She's sticking her neck out to tell us what's going on in
Viet Nam...er...Iraq.

1. Give her Couric's spot!!

She'd bring intelligence and credibility to the show - they'd send CBS straight to the cellar!

2. While I would love to see this lovely person in a much safer spot

we really need good reporters to tell the truth. If she left Iraq we lose one more person willing to tell the truth and we need every honest journalist we can round up right now.

Of course, if we could trade her for Laura Ingraham, that would be a good trade. What we lose in truth and fair reporting would be offset by one more loud mouth hypocrite putting her life where her mouth is.

Seriously tho - she would reach a LOT more viewers on the Today Show.... One would think that a prominent role model of integrity can't help but be good for the entire field...

4. I am going to miss her

if they give the anchor to Cutsey Couric, I won't be able watch. Hope Lara jumps to NBC. I can tolerate Brian, but haven't liked ABC since Peter died.
